Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Fenchel were held Thursday afternoon at the home of her son, Fred Fenchel, conducted by Rev. Max O. Jahr, pastor of the Lutheran church.
Interment was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery. Mrs. Fenchel, nee Christina Pfrommer, was born at Wittenberg, Germany, on Nov. 18, 1851. She was united in marriage to John Fenchel at Littleport in 1878. Mr. Fenchel passed away in 1921. For the past twenty-three years she has made her home at Strawberry point. She is survived by two daughters and two sons; Mrs. Marie Taylor of Crescent City, B.C.; Mrs. Lena Croyle of Greeley; Jacob Fenchel and Fred Fenchel of here. There are also twelve grandchildren.
