Clayton County Register, Thur., 17 Oct. 1935.

Funeral services for Harvey Carpenter of West Allis, Wis., were held at the M.E. church on Saturday afternoon, and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. James P. Gable. Interment was made in the Cox Creek cemetery. The deceased was a son of Mrs. Mabel Carpenter, formerly of this place but now of West Allis, Wis., who survives, as does also one sister and one brother, Mrs. Edith Rust of West Allis and Leon Carpenter of Wyoming.
