HEART DISEASE ATTACK FATAL

FARMER NORTHWEST OF ROLAND STRICKEN TUESDAY EVENING

John Ford, a farmer living on the A. J. Christenson (Tjernagel) farm, five miles north and two and a half miles west of Roland, was suddenly stricken with an attack of heart failure last Tuesday evening and died almost instantly.

According to information received here, Mr. Ford had been working on his car during the afternoon, with the intention of driving to Ames the next morning with his family, to have a family picture taken. He came into the house for a drink of water and while standing there, dropped to the floor directly in front of Mrs. Ford. He had not been in very good health for some time, but had been able to be around and look after his work every day and his sudden demise came as a severe shock to his family and friends. Funeral services will be held from the house at one o'clock on Friday afternoon this week, and from the Lutheran church at Randall at 1:30, Rev. G. O. Paulsrud being in charge of the services.
