ANDREW D. LARSON

Andrew D. Larson died at his home, southwest of Randall, last Friday after an illness of a little over a week with hardening of the arteries.

The funeral was held in the Randall church on Monday, and the remains were interred in the Center cemetery.

Andrew D. Larson was born in Denmark Feb. 8, 1848, and came to this country with his mother in 1875. He settled first in Nevada, but on moved to Story City. He was married Sept. 29, 1892, to Maggie Jorgenson, and he and his family lived west of town about nine years, after which they moved to the place southwest of Randall where they have lived ever since.

Besides the wife, he leaves three daughter -- Mattie, Laura and Hanna -- to mourn his death. He also leaves four brothers and a sister, namely, Martin of Story City, Chris of McCallsburg, Nels of Nevada and Anton, address unknown. The sister lives in Denmark.

Mr. Larson was of a quiet and home loving disposition and his family will greatly miss him.
