Funeral services for Mrs. Hupert (Hazel Irene) Dunham, 78, will be held at the Barker Funeral Home in West Branch, at 11 a.m. today (May 2) with the Rev. Samuel Hahn officiating. Burial will be in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Dunham died at Newport News, Va. hospital April 25.

The daughter of Elwood and Clara Debirn Hemingway, she was born in Davis county Dec. 8, 1905. She was married to Lt. Col. Hupert Francis Dunham. They had lived in Newport News for 40 years.

She served in the WACS during World War II, was a member of Warwick Memorial Methodist church Women's society, both of Newport News and the Order of the Eastern Star, West Branch.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Paul, Brandywine, Md.; a grandchild and 2 sisters, Mrs. Mabel Saliesa and Mrs. Florence Fuller, both of Low Moor.
