Funeral services for Keith L. Ocheltree, 59, a former Tipton resident, were held at DeWitt April 3 with burial in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Mr. Ocheltree died at DeWitt Community hospital April 27.

The son of Ernest Guy and Marjory May Horn, he was born Aug. 3, 1924. He graduated from Tipton high school in 1942.

He entered active duty in the army July 30, 1943 and was discharged April 1, 1946. He spent 22 months overseas. He was recalled to duty during the Korean war.

He was married to Marilyn Catherine Sergeant in Tipton Nov. 30, 1949.

He had been a watch maker at Necker's Jewelry, DeWitt for 29 years. He was a member of the Quad-Cities Archaeological society and the Industrial Bowling league, DeWitt.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Kathy, Davenport; a son, Steve, DeWitt and a sister, Rhoda Harden, Tipton.
