Funeral services for Mrs. Harold (Etha V.) Wacker, 80, will be held at the Wilton Zion church at 2 p.m. today (May 2). The Rev. Curtis Moermond will officiate. Pallbearers are grandsons: Jeff, John and Martin Wacker, Don, Michael and Brett Wyatt and Bil Van Atta.

Mrs. Wacker died at the Wilton Nursing home April 30.

The daughter of Grattan and Ada Sherberger Dorn, she was born in Wilton April 18, 1904. She married Harold Wacker Sr. in Wilton on Nov. 11, 1921. She was a sales representative for the Singer Sewing Machine company in Wilton, a news reporter for the Wilton Advocate, and an organist for 20 years at the St. Paul's Lutheran church in Bennett.

Surviving are her husband; 2 sons, Harold Jr., Wilton and H. Steve, Lincoln, NE; 3 daughters, Mrs. Maurine Peeks, Mrs. John (Anita) Wyatt and Mrs. John (Glenna) Van Atta, all of Wilton; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.
