I am looking for the burial site of my 3X great-grandfather Leonard Archer, 1806-1887, last known census location (1885) listed Quincy, Adams County, IA. I have visited the area and greater Iowa and have visited the cemeteries where his father and his son (both also Leonards) are buried. His wife was Elizabeth Norton died 1894 (burial also unknown). I am wondering if the site is not a cemetery per se but what was their property in the 1880s and not may be on private property. Would appreciate any help in locating the burial site.
