John Merryfield Kaser was born Jan. 12, 1919 to Elmer Laurence and Ruth Clementine Merryfield Kaser. He died Oct. 24, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Lt. Kaser served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/FOD/KIA in the service of his country. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Clarence Nathan Vincent Keith was born May 16, 1925 to Charles Nobles and Bessie E. Majors Keith. He died May 5, 2008 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Cpl. Keith served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and Korea.

Dean Francis Kenan was born Aug. 21, 1909 to Albert “Bert” W. and Olive Jenkins Kenan. He died Aug. 24, 1944 and is buried in Rippey Cemetery, Rippey, IA.

Petty Officer Kenan served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Seabees and died in the service of his country.

William Bruce McIntyre Kendall was born Apr. 21, 1928 to William B. McIntyre and Mary H. McKee Kendall. He died Feb. 20, 1982 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Sgt. Kendall served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II.

Richard Wayne King was born May 20, 1924 to Stacy L. and Carrie Hess King. He died Dec. 31, 1944/FOD Jan. 1, 1946 and is buried in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, CA.

2nd Lt. King served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 351st Bomb Squadron, 100th Bomb Group, Heavy and was MIA over Hamburg, Germany.
