Will dated 11 mar 1854, proven 16 Jun 1854.
To my wife Matilda Vancleave, my personal property & $300.
To my son John P Vancleave and my son-in-law Preston Vancleave,
$200, which I have now paid. To my sons Joseph Warren,
Benjamin T & Thomas T and my son-in-law Allen Moore, $200.
To my sons Samuel G, Solomon M & Cornelius T, dau Margaret
Jane, son Stephen A, & gr dau Matilda B, $200 each.
Executrix: Matilda Vancleave, wife.
Administrator: Samuel Grimes Vancleave, son.

Will dated 7 Aug 1901, proven 2 Sep 1902.
To my son E H Van Meter for his lifetime the N1/2 NE 1/4, Sec 30,
and the SE 1/4 and S 1/2 NE 1/4, Sec 19, all T 78 N, R 27 W, and after
his death to his wife Clara B Van Meter a life estate in 1/3
of property then to William J Van Meter son of E H Van Meter.
To my grandchildren: Fletcher Van Meter, Doris M Van Meter
and Julius N Van Meter, children of my desceased son
Alphonso Van Meter the N 1/2 NE 1/4, Sec 19 and the N 1/2 SW 1/4 and
the NW 1/4, all Sec 20, T 79 N, R 27 W. To the children of my
sons 1/2 and SE 1/4, Sec 20, T 78 N, R 27 W. The following
real estate has been sold, reserving coal rights and mining
privileges: the N 1/2 NW 1/4, Sec 29, and the S 1/2 SW 1/4, Sec 20, and
the W 1/2 SW 1/4 and the NE 1/4 SW 1/4, all Sec 21, T 78 N, R 27 W, with
1/2 interest in such rights to the children of my sons.

acres, T 10 N, R 6 E; and the SE 1/4, Sec 24, 160 acres, and
the SW 1/4 NE 1/4, Sec 24, 40 acres, and S part SE 1/4 NE 1/4, Sec 24,
27 acres, T 10 N, R 5 E, subject to the rights of my wife Sarah
S Van Meter, I give to my children: Jacob R Van Meter, Julius
J Van Meter, Hugo G Van Meter and Susan G Haycraft, 1/6 each.
To Jacob R Van Meter the remaining 2/6 of my estate in trust
to support my daughter Elizabeth Durbin and her children and
my daughter Mary E Pruitt and her children.

I, Ludwig von Schenk (my full name being Baron Ludwig
August Friedrich Philipp Schenk zn Schweinsberg), give to
my wife Theirse von Schenk nee Lauge all my estate including
the sum of 6550 Mark which became due and payable on death
of my step-mother Elizabeth Schenk zn Schweinsberg of Cassel
Germany, also 1000 Mark more or less being my share of
proceeds from a collection of oil paintings; also my library
of books, manuscripts and works of art, etc.
