MRS. GORDON JACKSON

Mrs. Gordon Jackson, daughter of Lyman and Gertha Stratton was born February 27, 1893 at Smithland and died Saturday, September 25, 1971 at a Eugene, Oregon hospital. She had reached the age of 7S years, 6 months and 28 days.

Mrs. Jackson was married to Mr. Jackson on January 31, 1912 at Onawa, Iowa. The couple farmed in the Oto area for 24 years. They moved to Oregon 25 years ago.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Kennedy, of Springfield; two sons, Keith of Springfield and Nelvin of Eugene; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 28, 1971 at the Buell Chapel in Springfield. Services were also held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 1, 1971 at the Walter Funeral Home at Mapleton. The Rev. Walter Enstrom of the United Church of Christ at Oto officiated. Burial was in the Smithland Cemetery
