Ivan Stratton

Relatives in Iowa received word last week of the death of Ivan Stratton from Stromsburg, Nebraska, after a long illness. He was 78.

Ivan was the 6th child of Elias and Edna Stratton who farmed near Oto.

He is survived by his wife. Ruth: four daughters, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil Stratton of Cherokee and Kenneth Stratton of Oto and three sisters, Muriel Uhl and Maureta Weifenbach of Mapleton and Lorena Miller of Osceola, Nebraska.

Funeral services and burial were at Osceola, Nebraska. Relatives attending the funeral from this area on Saturday, April 11 were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stratton of Oto. Cecil Stratton of Cherokee. Mr. and Mrs. Hank Weifenbach and Peg Kunkel, and Ken of Mapleton
