Dottie May Scott, daughter of John and Mary Hilliard Randolph, was born January 24, 1901 at Bentonsport and died Monday morning, February 29, 1988 in Highland Hospital, Belvedere, Illinois at the age of 87.
She married Benjamin M. Scott June 24, 1920 at Bentonsport. They farmed in the Center Chapel community south of Keosauqua. Mr. Scott died September 21, 1971. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter, Mary Ziller.
She was a member of the Center Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3, 1988 at 1 p.m. in the Center Chapel United Methodist Church south of Keosauqua with Reverend Don Morrison officiating. Interment will be in Center Chapel Cemetery. Memorials to the Center Chapel church may be left at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
