Reva DeEtta Dale, 75, formerly of 1220 Plum died at 6:16 p.m. Sept. 2, 1986, at Ridgewood Care Center.

She was born Sept. 20, 1910, in Douds to Seth and Della Morrow Harryman. A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she was secretary for the United Way for many years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and has been financial secretary of the church for more than 35 years. She was a member of United Methodist Women, Edna K. Rounds Kings Daughter Circle, Order of Eastern Star Ottumwa Chapter 112, and Ollepaw Chapter of American Business Women. She married John C. Dale Sept. 5, 1936. He died July 2, 1985.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane Bednar of Ottumwa; a son, John, of Milwaukee, Wis.; a grandson, Matthew Bednar of Ottumwa; and three sisters, Vivian Crew and Darlene Felgar of Fairfield, and Madoma Burford of St. Louis.

The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church, the Rev. Wayne Gjerde officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at Reece Funeral Home from 7-8:30 p.m. today.

A memorial has been established to either Wesley United Methodist Church or Ridgewood Care Center.

Pallbearers will be Leonard Davidson, Merrill Miller, Chris Thompson, Harold Rauze, Russell Wright, and Kenneth Young.
