Noel L. Guinn

Noel L. Guinn, 77, of Mt. Pleasant died on Sunday, Aug. 3 in Mt. Pleasant. He was born March 2, 1909 at Exline, Iowa to Isaac and Grace Walters Guinn

On July 27, 1941 at Memphis, Mo. he married Dorothy J. Enness who survives. He had farmed for several years, and had worked for REC at Mt. Pleasant for 17 years. He was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are seven brothers, Walter and Rex, both of Bloomfield, Raymond of Milton, Donald of Lancaster, Ohio, Ronald of Marietta, Ohio, Robert of White Hall, Wisc., four sisters, Leva Hills and Vera Schively, both of Bloomfield, Juaqvetta Zemo of Centerville, Merlene Lord of Carmen, Ill.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Rev. George Whit officiated. Graveside services will be held (today) Thursday, August 7 at 2:30 p.m. at the Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton, after which the family will receive friends at the Raymond Guinn home at Milton.

Memorials have been established to the Henry County Cancer Fund.
