Grace Guinn

Grace Guinn, 85, route 6, Bloomfield, died Tuesday at the Davis County Hospital.

She was born March 1, 1892 to Edward and Louisa Withrow Walter in Dean. She married Isaac Guinn on Dec. 23, 1908 in Appanoose County. He died in 1961.

A resident of Davis and Appanoose Counties all of her life, she was affiliated with the Moulton United Methodist Church, Friendship Circle of Dean and the Bloomfield Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include 10 sons, Noel and Russell of Mount Pleasant, Walter and Rex of Bloomfield, Elton of Holden, Mo., Raymond of Milton, Ronald of Marietta, Ohio, Robert of Whitehall, Wis., Merlin of Moulton and Donald of Lancaster, Wis.; four daughters, Leva Hill and Vera Shively of Bloomfield, Merlene Lord of Winfield and Jacquetta Zemo of Centerville; a brother, Virgil Walter of Exline; a sister, Zella Thompson of Dexter; 49 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Wagler Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Eldon Ringle. Burial will be in the Zoar Cemetery in Appanoose County.

Memorials have been established to the Zoar Church or Easter Seals.
