Pearl A. McPherson

The funeral service for Pearl A. McPherson, 81, of Davenport was held at the McGinnis Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Ia. at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, 1972 with a visiting minister officiating.

Mr. McPherson had been employed at the French and Hecht Co. of Davenport until he retired in 1959. He married Ella South of Croton, Iowa in 1910. In 1945 he married Iva Borman. She died in 1967.

He is survived by one son, McKinley McPherson of Des Moines, Ia.; two daughters, Mrs. Violet Groom of Des Moines and Mrs. Phylinda Weesner of Lower Lake, Calif.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Russ Hart of Davenport; one brother, Oliver McPherson of Luverne, Minn. and two sisters, Mrs. D.A. Henkle and Mrs. Ernest French, both of Farmington; several nieces and nephews and grandchildren. Mr. McPherson was a former area resident.
