VERYL COUNTRYMAN

Veryl R. Countryman, 49, Moline, Ill. died Saturday morning, Sept. 11, in the Moline Public Hospital, where he had been a patient for six days.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Countryman of Birmingham, he was born in Douds, Iowa. He married Bernice Wade on April 25, 1943, in Davenport. He had been employed as a computer operator at the John Deere Planter Works.

Survivors are his wife; his parents; two sons, Very Richard of Bethalto, Kent, at home; a daughter, Tami, at home; three brothers, Dale of Birmingham, Dean of Hillsboro, Iowa, Clifford of Moline, Ill; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Sharts of Pleasant Plain, Iowa, Mrs. Maxine McCarty of Douds and Mrs. Donna Story of Birmingham.

Memorials were made to the American Cancer Society.

Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 1:30 p.m. in Esterdahl Mortuary in Moline, with Rev. Harold Mongerson of the Community Church of the Nazarene in charge. Burial was in Greenview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
