George Dowell

Funeral services for George Dowell of Ottumwa, a native of an Buren county, who died Saturday at the St. Joseph hospital at Ottumwa, were held Tuesday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Burial was in the Purdom cemetery at Keosauqua.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1936.

Survivors are four sisters Mrs. Mark Aylor of Keosauqua, Mrs. Lorna Black of Cowden, Ill., Mrs. Edna Moore of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Weltha Sommerfield of Detroit, Mich.
