Mrs. William Edwards, 49, of near Mount Sterling, died Saturday, March 31 at 7 a.m. at Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua. She had been ill three years.

She was born east of Mount Sterling April 11, 1912, the daughter of Dr. John Hiram and Irene D. Willits Wilson. She was married June 1, 1941, in Keokuk to William L. Edwards, who survives. She also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Jane Edith Cline of Farmington; a brother, John H. Wilson of Galesburg, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Helen Irene Porter of Tulsa, Okla. Her parents, a brother, Robert E. Wilson, and a sister, Marion Wilson, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 3 at 2 p.m. at the Bonaparte Methodist Church, Rev. Leroy Moore officiated. Burial was in Thompson Cemetery.
