Lloyd Davidson

Lloyd Davidson, 55, of Washington, Iowa, former resident of the Brighton and Salina communities, died Friday morning, Jan. 12 in the Washington County Hospital.

The funeral was held Monday Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, in Washington, Rev. Walter Smith was in charge. A graveside service was held in Macomb, Ill. at 2:30 p.m., Monday. Davidson formerly lived in Macomb.

He was born Oct. 15, 1906, in Washington, the son of Perry and Augusta Davidson. On Jan. 25, he was married in Macomb to Alice R. Vogler, who survives. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving besides his widow are three sons, Max L. Davidson of Fairfield, Dick E. Davidson in Burlington and Everett L. Davison of Birmingham; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Thompson of Washington; three brothers, Wilbur Davidson of Macomb, and Emmett Davidson of Birmingham; and five sisters, Mrs. May Miller of Washington, Mrs. Ernie Earll of Washington, Mrs. Lloyd Williams of Keota, Mrs. Neil Jacobs, of Birmingham and Mrs. Ferrell Long of Richland.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister and a brother.
