I found in the 1860 Mortality Schedule - Buckingham Twp, Tama Co., IA my ancestor, "Martha" M. E. Childs, age 33, female, born NY, died April 1860, Diptheritis, 10 days.
Family stories claim they lived in Hanktown, IA ?? when she died, can't prove it. 1860 Census has them living in Indian Village Twp.
Can someone help me pinpoint where they lived and where she is buried ? I am puzzled.
