Mrs. Arie Pals was born in Holland July 23, 1877 and died in her home in Hull April 18, 1945 of heart attack.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday from the home and at 2 o’clock from the Christian Reformed Church in charge of Reverend Hanenburg. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago.
Hillena Kooiman married Arie Pals on December 12, 1899 in Orange City, Iowa. Arie died October 23, 1927.

There are nine children, 17 grandchildren. They are Emery Palls of Hull; Katie, Mrs. John Roelofsen of Bellflower, California; Grace, Mrs. Andrew Caswell of Hull; George Pals in the Pacific; William Pals of Hull; Nellie Pals of Whitenville, Massachutes; Corporal Eric Pals of the Pacific; Helenna Pals, Whitenville, Massachutes; Trene, Mrs. G. Monsma, Arlington, Virginia.

Pallbearers were neighbors: Messrs. John Van Dyk, Bylsma, Oostenink, Hubers, Van Maanen and Langstraat.
