Arie Pals, who we mentioned a couple of weeks ago as having had a stroke of paralysis, died at his home in Hull last Sunday morning surrounded by his entire family, death coming very peacefully to relieve his suffering.

Arie is the son of Emery Pals. Arie married Hillena Kooiman on December 12, 1899 in Orange City, Iowa. Arie and Hillena are the parents of: Emery, Katie, Grace, George, William, Nellie, Eric, Hillene and Irene.

The Pals family has lived in Hull and vicinity for many years, and has enjoyed the warm friendship of all who know them and the passing of Mr. Pals is a severe shock to all and especially to the bereaved ones.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the home and from the Christian Reformed Church and the remains were laid to rest in beautiful Hope Cemetery.

Sincere sympathy is extended by all, to the bereaved wife and children.
