Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed watching sports on TV, including basketball and football, as well as attending the many games his grandchildren participated in. Melvin was very proud of their garden and enjoyed sharing its produce with all their kids and neighbors; also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. Mostly, he enjoyed time spent with his children and grandchildren.
