LaVeta Murlene Couch, 89 of Springdale passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 at her home. She was born September 19, 1932 in Carl Junction, Missouri to Floyd M. Rustin and Ruby McGenniss Rustin.

She traveled with her husband all over the country working on pipelines with her late husband. She was a member of Elmdale Baptist in Springdale where she taught Sunday school, and sang in the choir. She enjoyed crocheting, she worked at several different school cafeterias locally. She was a homemaker and loving wife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Couch; three siblings, Glen Rustin, Gene Rustin, and Barbara Swartz.

Survivors include three sons, Joe Couch and wife Susie, Bill Couch and wife Eilene of Greenwood, Arkansas and Floyd Couch and wife Tracy of Springdale; one daughter, Brenda Baker of Springdale, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10am at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

No visitation is planned.
