DIED

HENKE—At the home o her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clement Henke 1˝ mile southeast of Akron, Wednesday morning, October 28, 1903, Miss May (Mary) Elizabeth Henke, age 18 years, 4 months and 27 days.

The girl had been ill for several days, but her condition was not considered dangerous until Tuesday evening, when Dr. P. A. Lillie was hurriedly summoned. He did everything possible for her, but she was beyond possible for her, but she was beyond all human aid and passed away after much suffering about an hour past midnight. The cause of her death is given as uremic coma. The untimely end of the unfortunate girl touches the sympathies of this community.

Funeral services were held this (Thursday) forenoon at 11 o’clock at St. Patrick’s Catholic church. Interment was made in the Akron Catholic cemetery.
