Funeral services for Mrs. Dewey (Marcia) Patterson, 75, were held at West Liberty Dec. 19 with the Rev. Ralph Farmer officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty. Mrs. Patterson died at the Crestview Care center, West Branch, Dec. 16.

The daughter of Howard and Elizabeth Welch, she was born in Chicago, IL Nov. 12, 1906 and was married to Dewey Patterson.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Bud (Mary) Carter, West Liberty and Mrs. Keith (Norma) Bryan, Solon; 2 sons, Robert, Des Moines and Richard, Muscatine; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her mother, Elizabeth Welch, West Branch and a brother, Charles Welch, Alturas, CA.
