Funeral services for Ella Marolf, 82, Moscow, were held Aug. 12 at the Grace United Church of Christ, Wilton, with the Rev. Larry Bunger officiating. Pallbearers were Marvin, Lindsay and Steven Hinrichs, Jerry Marolf, Jeff Johnson, Wade and Ronald Wiese, Wayne Lincoln and Carl Ehrich. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Smock, Chad and Eric Johnson and Dustin Marolf. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Marolf died Aug. 10 at the Colonial Manor Care Center in Columbus Junction.

She was born June 15, 1901, in Moscow to Herman and Anna Hunt Wiese. She married Edward Marolf June 27, 1918 in Davenport. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Moscow.

She is survived by one son, Hilbert, Moscow; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Hilda) Hinrichs, Atalissa; 5 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother, Myril Wiese, Washington and a sister, Mrs. Emma Holland, Chicago. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1964, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
