Funeral services for Karen Lynn Shryock, 27, West Liberty, were held Aug. 12 at the Snider Funeral Home in West Liberty, with the Rev. John Morrisey officiating. Burial was in the Mount Calvary cemetery.

She died Tuesday morning, Aug. 9 from injuries received in a fire at Sugar Bottom Stables near Solon.

The daughter of James and Shirley Reinhardt Baird, she was born Sept. 28, 1955 in Iowa City. She was a graduate of West Liberty high school.

She is survived by a daughter, Alicia, West Liberty; her father of Marion and 2 brothers, Donald Baird, Marion and Charles Baird, Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her mother.
