Funeral services for Marshall Hawley, 59, West Liberty, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, June 1 at the West Liberty United Methodist church, with burial in the Oakridge cemetery.

Mr. Hawley died May 29 at University hospitals after an extended illness.

He had farmed in Muscatine county and married Leone Wilson in 1943 in Vinton.

He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion and the Cedar County Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife, daughters, Anne Hawley, Cambridge, MA, and Barbara Hawley, Cleveland, OH, sons, David, Corpus Christi, TX; and Charles, Tucson, AZ, 3 grandchildren, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hawley, Viton and a sister, Mardene Kelley, Vinton.
