Heart Attack Following An Operation Cause of Death of Young Mother
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9 a. m. in St. Mary's church in Danbury for Mrs. Herbert H. Schrunk of Danbury, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Otto of Mapleton. Mrs. Schrunk passed away Monday morning in the Onawa hospital. She underwent an operation Sunday and Monday suffered a heart attack.
Rev. A. J. Arndorfer, pastor of the church, officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery near Danbury, with the Fitzpatrick funeral home of Danbury in charge.
Mrs. Schrunk, the former Lela Otto, was an instructor in Mapleton Junior High several years ago. She had attended Iowa University and was a member of the H. E. O. club of Mapleton.
She is survived by her husband, 4 small children, Rachel, Sally, Frank and Janet, and her parents and 2 sisters, Mrs. Lola Durst of Danbury and Miss Betty Otto of Mapleton.
