The Chattins and Riedesels are common names in the early history of this town of Charter Oak, IA

If you go to the CHarter Oak, Iowa History" facebook page the top cover picture shows the Riedesel furniture store and funeral/underaking. The sign for which can be seen on the West/right side of the street view.
John F Chattin is said to have built the first building in Charter Oak.
