MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Helen Sawyer, 40, were held from Goettsch Funeral home in Monticello at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. C. C. Gutekunst in charge. Interment was made at Oakwood cemetery.

Miss Sawyer died at John McDonald hospital Monday evening, Nov. 25, following a long illness.

Born Jan. 14, 1923 in Monticello, she was the daughter of William and Alice Clark Sawyer. She attended the Monticello public schools and has made her home with her parents in Monticello.

Survivors include her parents, and one sister, Mrs. George (Dorothy) W. Bohlken, also of Monticello.
