OLIN - Gilbert Emerson, who operated farms near Olin most of his life, died Wednesday night at the home of his son, Ross, in Chicago, Ill., where he had been making his home.

Surviving are six children, Ross and Leola Zariski, Chicago; Mrs. C. W. Ralson, Springville; Howard, Shellsburg; Mrs. Donald Mohr, Hopkinton and Glen Dola, Waubeek.

Funeral service was held Saturday at the Green church near Morley with burial in the Green cemetery. Springville funeral home was in charge.
