James O'Toole, 26, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. O. O'Toole, Anamosa, was one of eight men killed Wednesday, Aug. 14, in an explosion at the Aerojet Navy rocket plant at Azusa, Calif., where he was employed.

James, who was born and raised in Anamosa, went to the west coast about nine years ago. He was a graduate of the Anamosa high school and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church here.

His parents left for Azusa, Calif. and arrived there Saturday morning to arrange for services.

Other survivors include his three sisters, Rosemary, Mrs. John Loretto, Detroit, Mich.; Margaret and Doris, Pasadena, Calif., and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Port S. Weaver, Anamosa.
