MRS. HOWARD DAY...WYOMINGFuneral services for Mrs. Howard Day, 76, were held Wednesday at 1:30 pm. at Zion Lutheran church, with the Rev. Alfred Mardorf officiating. Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery. She died at Jackson County hospital, Maquoketa, July 23. Rose Schultz was born June 19, 1892, in Lost Nation. She married Howard Day in September 1919 and taught school for many years in Olin and Wyoming.
Survivors include her husband, Howard of Wyoming; a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Fye of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren; and three sisters.
Pallbearers were John N. Petersen, Martin Petersen, Fred Latare, Clair Westphal, Peter Sievers and Howard Jamieson.
