ROBERT H DAYServices for Robert Howard "Bill" Day, 85, were held July 20 at the Zion American Lutheran Church, Wyoming. The Rev. James Mattson officiated.
Mr. Day died July 17 at the Anamosa Community Hospital.
He was born Nov 21, 1896 in Wyoming, the son of Julian and Mary McClarren Day and graduated from Wyoming High School in 1915. He married Rose Schultz on Sept. 16, 1919 in Lost Nation. They lived nearly all their married life in Wyoming, where he operated a service station. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church in Wyoming and the Lutheran Brotherhood.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Doris) Fye, Cedar Rapids, and two grandchildren.
Mr. Day was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter, one brother and two sisters.
Pallbearers were Melvin Petersen, Clifford Dirks, Marvin Brunscheen, Ralph Andresen, Dean Teslow and Deane James.
