The funeral of Tillman Smith of Polk Rapids, Minnesota, was held at the Evangelical Church on Friday afternoon. Mr. Smith was a lawyer, 54 years of age. His wife was formerly Miss Cora Ressler and she has a large number of friends and relatives in this community who share her grief at this time. Besides his wife, Mr. Smith leaves two daughters, a sister and other relatives. The services were in charge of Rev. R.E. Kerney and interment was in the Sharon Cemetery.

Mrs. Tillman Smith and daughters are planning to make their future home in Iowa City. They expect to return to their home in Park Rapids, Minnesota the last of this week to complete their arrangements.

Prof. and Mrs. Theodore Ressler, of Swisher, Iowa were here to attend the funeral of Tillman Smith and remained until Sunday afternoon.
