In Memoriam

Don Ardell Strickler, youngest son of Henry and Bertha Strickler of Sharon Center, Iowa, was born at Sharon Center, Aug. 11, 1910 and died June 9, 1912, aged 1 year, 9 months, and 28 days. The little boy was instantly killed by the over turning of an automobile near Charlotte, Iowa. His parents and three brothers survive their irreparable loss.
Little Don Ardell was permitted to live in this world but a few brief months. The sad automobile accident quickly crushed his tender body, yet we believe that good was accomplished by his living in this world. The mission of his life is performed and he is called away. The little form sleeps in death but the spirit is safe in that world where accidents and disasters never come.
The funeral which was attended by hundreds, was held from the Sharon Evangelical church, June 12, 1912. Rev. J.B. Meloy conducted the obsequies, assisted by Rev. A. Schwimley, of Iowa City.
The Strickler family have the sympathy of all in their great sorrow.
