Regarding JEFFERSON COUNTY FAMILY HISTORY BOOKS AT THE FAIRFIELD LIBRARY GENEALOGY SECTION.
Please advise how I might obtain
copies of pages in the Family History Book titled:

TURNER, BOWER, ALRED - early families of

Jefferson, Henry & Keokuk counties by:

HARKINS, Nancy, pub. n/a
My great grandfather, Harvey L. Bales married
Mary Ann Turner, 18 Mar,1848, in Jefferson County Iowa. She was born in KY in 1823, and I feel certain she was a daughter of Fielding L. Turner and his wife Sarah (Mitchell) Turner (Fielding and his sons and daughters came to Jefferson County, Iowa from Green County, KY after the death of Sarah).
I have seen postings by Nancy Harkins, stating that she has copies of obits, etc. regarding this family, and that they had 4 daughters (I have only been able to find the names of 3, but the l840 Census shows a daughter of the right age to be my Mary Ann). Everything "fits" for this to be she.... the names that Mary Ann and Harvey gave their children, where they lived, timeframe, etc....and I am looking for information to "prove" same!
Any information and help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
