Joseph FRANZEN Dies Sunday At Germanville Home

Joseph FRANZEN, died at his home near Germanville Sunday evening at the age of 76. The funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph's church in East Pleasant Plain, with burial in the cemetery.

He leaves aside from his wife the following children: Albert of Washington; Mrs. Rosa LAHR of Pleasant Plain; Mrs. Theodore LONDE; Mary GEVOCK south of Brighton; Peter, Anthony, Leo and Gertrude at home. He also leaves five grandchildren.

He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Henry WILMS; Mrs. William ARNAT; and Mrs. Agnes WEENIKE, formerly of near Fairfield, all of who live near Brighton now.

Mr. FRANZEN was born in Germany October 7, 1857. He came to this country with his mother and a sister when he was a young man. He married Anna KNOPP 41 years ago.
