Mrs. Thomas Webb

Maria Louisa McKinzie was born April 9, 1863 in Henry County, Iowa and died at her home in Redfield, Iowa, December 7, 1925 at the age of 62 years, 7 months, and 28 days. She was united in marriage to William Darnell in 1879. To this union was born one daughter, Martha Jane O’Brien of Livingston, Montana. Mr. Darnell passed away in 1883.

She came to Redfield in 1886. On February 20, 1890, was united in marriage to Thomas Webb. To them, two daughters were born, Frances Idella de Ford of Redfield, and Georgia Louise Hammond of Perry.

Departing this life she leaves her husband, three daughters, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, five sisters, and many friends to mourn her departure.

She was united with the Church of Christ in November 1893. Since 1886 she has lived in the vicinity of Redfield, and the last 11 years in the home where she died.

Her five sisters are Mrs. Emma Shepherd, Redfield; Mrs. Nancy Heck, Moline, Illinois; Mrs. Mary A. Clark, Wayland, Iowa; Mrs. Elizabeth Tuiner, Rome, Iowa; Mrs. Martha Oswalt, Trenton, Iowa.

The funeral services were conducted at the Christian Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment in East Linn Cemetery.
