Mary Gaster, 96, Webster City, died Sunday, June 2, 2002 at Crestview Manor. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral Home, with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Public burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and prior to the service on Thursday.

Mary Elizabeth Bowman, daughter of Charles and Clara Dubson Bowman, was born January 19, 1906 at McCleansboro, Ill. On January 21, 1924 she married Guy Henry Gaster at Estherville. She was a homemaker. Mr. Gaster died December 1, 1966. She moved to Crestview Manor July 11, 1989.

Mrs. Gaster is survived by daughters-in-law Evelyn Gaster of Webster City, Shirley Gaster of Nevada, Mo.; grandchildren, Mike Gaster of Nevada, Mo.; Bob Gaster, Dexter, Minn.; Cindy Tometich of Johnston, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Agnes Gris of Clear Lake; Alma Ebeling of Hutchinson.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Harold and Lloyd; her parents; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.
