DEATH

Funeral services for Teddy Allen Burchfield, age 70 years, of Jewell were Monday, July 16 at 10 a.m. from Becker Funeral Home in Jewell.

He passed away Thursday evening, July 12 at Story City Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell.

He was born at Linden, April 20, 1903. He married Vivienne Harris at Marengo. Burchfield was a stock buyer for over 40 years. He graduated from Linden High School and was a member of the Christian Church at Linden. Later he attended the Federated Church in Jewell.

Survivors include his wife, Vivienne; a son Bruce Burchfield, Homewood, Illinois; a brother Henry Burchfield of Panora and three sisters, Mrs. Frances Hever, Des Moines; Mrs. Beulah McMurray of Grayman, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Cora Vaugh, Denver, Colorado.
