DEATH

ANNA PETERSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Peterson, 83 years of Jewell, were held Monday, July 2 at 2 p.m. from Bethesda Lutheran, Jewell with Rev. Norbert Jolivette officiating.

Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Jewell.

Mrs. Peterson passed away at Story City Hospital on Saturday afternoon where she had been admitted that day.

Anna Lenning was born at Ellsworth on July 8, 1889. On March 19, 1913, she was united in marriage to Anton A. Peterson, who preceded her in death on May 12, 1967. The Petersons farmed near Jewell until they retired in 1947 and then moved to Jewell. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Irene Rod, Story City, and Mrs. Gladys Butler of Blairsburg, seven grandchildren, three brothers, Leonard Lenning of Story City, Gaylord Lenning, Tama, Olger Lenning, Jewell, and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Rasmussen of Webster City and Mrs. Govie Jensen of San Diego, California.
