I am a member of Ancestry.com I also have info from the site about James Obrien b abt 1816'

"U.S., Civil War Draft Registrations Records Record for James Obrien" states he was a laborer residing in Dubuque, draft card states he was from Ireland and that the date enlisted June 1863. It actually has the copy of the book there. If you would like the info please let me know. I would be glad to help.
