In Response To: Lost O'Brien tombstone (LuAnn (Wentworth) Goeke)

I think this person is in my family! His names was James O'Brien except he was born in 1816. I don't have an exact date because he immigrated here from Ireland in the 1820s. I have been able to find a burial site and he didn't have an obituary. He is one of those ancestors that are mainly a mystery. Can I help you, because I highly believe this is him. He did live, die and was buried in Iowa. I know that for sure. He is mentioned last living in New Vienna, Dubuque County.

Thanks,

Matthew Prythero
