JENNINGS FAMILY

MATTHIAS, LAWRENCE, MARY DILL, JARUSHIA, AND ADDIE JENNINGS

Matthias Jennings came to Clayton County, McGregor with his son Lawrence from Ontario Canada in the early 1800's. He was a maker of wooden kegs and barrels, but soon turned to medicine and became a prominent doctor in the area until his death in 1864. He was married three times to Canadian women. Mary Dill, Jarushia and Addie (Ada) and had many children.
