Hi Judy,
I was glancing through the Clinton County queries idly trying to find some information on my grandmother Sophie Ketelesen Polzin when I punched up Polzin and found your query. I don't know if you ever got an answer to your question, so if not, here's what I can contribute. Catherine Cena Hansen Polzin was married to August Polzin, who in turn was my grandfather Frederich Carl Polzin's brother. They were the sons of August E. Polzin and his father was Jacob. That's as far back as we've been able to go thus far.
There are a number of us who are working on the Polzin lineage and offshoots thereof. There is so much family history in the Clinton, Manning, Grey, IA area and so many of us were born far from there so that we all need all the help we can get. If you have any Ketelsen's in your lineage, please let me know.
